Sir George Herschel maintains a stately house that doubles as an observatory for his astronomical calculations. A somewhat absent minded academic, he relies on the assistance of his agent Abigail Allcock for more practical matters. Abigail; sister of renowned explorer Theodosius, is proficient in both Sir George's book-keeping, and welding a sabre in his interests when necessary. She is also very fond of Sir George's dachshund Tiberius.
