Vengeance

Rualin Mithros was sitting in the corner, drinking a spiced mulled wine while thinking over his latest task. His thoughts were interrupted when the door to the tavern opened letting a frigid gust of wind. All of the customers near the door looked to see who did it. The new customer's face was masked with a balaclava. The tavern eyed him with suspicion, to which the new customer disregarded and continued walking to the bar. He removed his balaclava revealing long, dusty blond hair and short beard. "Who's the guy in the corner?", asked the stranger. "You mean the shady, filthy half-breed.", he said with a nasty look at Rualin. He spat after a few other remarks. "Yes, I mean him. Would you get me a hearty broth with some bread and some ale." The tavern keeper went into a room behind the bar and shouted, "Oi! Serving Girl! A weird fellow wants some broth with bread! And make sure you don't make it where his mouth catches on fire!" A few minutes later the tavern keeper returned with a tankard of ale and said,"Drink up. Now what's yer name." "My name is Harun of Nordburg", he replied. Harun took his ale and went over to the table in the corner where Rualin sat. "Greetings Stranger. My name is Harun. What is yours?" "Rualin Mithros", he replied, "What do you want from me." Harun was about to reply when the tavern door suddenly flung open. Whoever flung it did so fiercely that the door was ripped free of the hinges and went crashing down on a few merchants who had been joking earlier. In walked a man who looked like he wanted to rip someone's throat out. He was dressed in a black cloak. He was missing his right eye and his head was scarred and severely burned. "Well, well. You thought you could leave me like that Harun. Thought you deserved the amulet instead of me who had been looking for it nigh on twenty years", the stranger said this with an air of importance. His voice was rather silky and it made one feel like a spider was crawling up one's back. "Arrest them" Out of nowhere armed men came grabbing a hold of the first person they met and immediately tied them and tossed them on the hard, wooden floor like sacks of grain. Rualin and Harun struggled to get out and were caught, tied up, and thrown out the door into the cold abyss. "You'll pay for what you did and what you made me go through Harun!"

To be Continued

Hopefully the Moc reflects the Story well. I had fun with SNOT techniques that are used on the floor, walls, door, and the stained glass window. And, I like to build snow, so there‘s a bit in one corner. :)
