Asteroid Carrier

Attrition warfare strained resources for new spacecrafts and led to the improvised use of asteroids as hulls of larger ships.

This build started with the mining helmets being used for microscale space structures, which evolved to incorporate the chrome blue sphere. Afterwards I wanted to attach the structure to an asteroid but wasn’t sure what features to put on the asteroid. Thankfully the Space Jam contest helped me with the idea of the carrier. In trying to come up with microscale starfighters, I discovered the minifig sai has a near-perfect look all on its own.
