"Le Dormeur du Val", Arthur Rimbaud For this MOC I chose to illustrate a poem by Arthur Rimbaud, of which I tried to translate and summarize:
It’s a green hollow, where a river sings A young soldier, open mouth, bare head, And his neck bathing in the watercress, Sleeps; he lies on the grass, under the sky, Pale in his green bed where the light rains. Smiling as would a sick child,he takes a nap: Nature, rock him warmly: he is cold. Fragrances do not make his nostrils quiver; He sleeps in the sun, hand on his chest, Peacefully. He has two red holes in his right side.

Wow, that is some rushing water! Really cool technique! Nice job on the soldier's coat too.

It's a beautiful MOC, very creative and outside the box! It reminded us of and old MC Solaar's song... ''Le Dormeur du Val ne dort pas, il est mort et son corps est rigide et froid. Great work!

@GenevaD Thanks! I really wanted to get that dynamic feeling on the stream.

@Brickago Thank you! That song may be old but not as much as the original poem from 1870 hahahah
